[BUG] [Windows] Cannot upload images and numpad keys not working in Claude CLI

What's Wrong?

Environment

• OS: Windows
• Claude CLI version: 2.1.84 (native installer)
• Installation: Native installer (C:\Users\<user>\.local\bin\claude.exe)

Bug 1: Cannot upload images

When attempting to attach/upload images in the Claude CLI on Windows, the action fails or the option is not functional.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start claude in Windows terminal
2. Attempt to attach an image (drag & drop or paste)
3. Image is not uploaded / no response

Expected: Image should be attached and sent to Claude
Actual: No image upload occurs

Bug 2: Numpad keys not working

Number keys on the numpad (Num Lock on) do not register input in the Claude CLI interactive prompt on Windows.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start claude in Windows terminal
2. Enable Num Lock
3. Press numpad number keys to type input
4. No characters appear

Expected: Numpad digits should work like regular number keys
Actual: Numpad input is ignored

Additional context

Both issues only occur on Windows. The terminal used: VSCode integrated terminal / Windows Terminal.
