  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Issue - unable to recreate.
On changing projects, misclick "archive" while dismissing project panel, session was archived, two sessions reduced to one. Not visible in the archived folder, all projects all locations.
Not deleted, no delete confirmation.

Attempted to recreate, started new sessions and did same action, was able to find in archived folder.

Project has been unused prior to update, first launch of affected project since update earlier "Claude 1.1.8629 (befdfc) 2026-03-24T22:13:01.000Z"

What Should Happen?

Session should be moved to archived folder.

Error Messages/Logs

No error, UI worked as expected if archiving.

Steps to Reproduce

Open a project with active sessions in the Claude macOS app
While dismissing/closing the project panel, accidentally click "Archive" on a session
Observe: session disappears from Active list
