[Bug] Chat crash results in loss of generated file artifacts

Bug Description

• I had claude code desktop create several mock ups of my project. The chat crashed and I went looking for them and claude didn't save a single one. I'm not having to suffer through and recreate the conversation and get the mock up half of what we had before.
