[Bug] Worktree creation hangs with complex branch names containing hyphens

Bug Description
Worktree branching with "complex" name no longer working.

My workflow is to copy linear branch names and create worktrees from them. This worked until around the 19th/20th. When I attempt to create a worktree from the branch name, it stalls indefinitely.

myname/projectname-1235-i-am-working-on-this-feature for example.
