[BUG] Claude Desktop crashes on startup - missing IPC handlers ComputerUseTcc_$_getState and CoworkSpaces_$_getAllSpaces - Windows - Max plan

What's Wrong?

Claude Desktop version: 1.1.7714.0
OS: Windows 11
Plan: Max

What's wrong:
Claude Desktop crashes on startup every time since March 17, 2026. The window opens for ~3 seconds, tasks are briefly visible, then it closes. This started the same day the persistent agent thread Cowork feature began rolling out to Max plan users.

Reproduction: 100% reproducible on clean install with zero app data.

Debug log output (--enable-logging --log-level=0):
Error occurred in handler for '..._claude.web_
_ComputerUseTcc_$_getState':
Error: No handler registered for '..._claude.web_
_ComputerUseTcc_$_getState'

Renderer process crashed

Note: The CoworkSpaces_$_getAllSpaces error that was present in versions 1.1.7053.0 and 1.1.7203.0 is now gone in 1.1.7714.0, so progress has been made. Only ComputerUseTcc_$_getState handler is still missing and crashing the renderer.

Impact: Completely locked out of Claude Desktop for 5+ days. Support ticket raised (ID: 215473541914075) with no human response yet.

Request: Please register the missing ComputerUseTcc_$_getState IPC handler in the Desktop binary, or roll back my Max account from the persistent agent thread feature rollout until the fix is ready.

Desktop should work without crashing on start up.
