Claude Code was tried in Ubuntu 24.04 LTS and Ubuntu 25.10 WSL2 instances, same issue in both.
I have added the firewall rule for my WSL2 IP range (172.22.0.0/16) and I have tried restarting IDE, WSL2 and the entire PC multiple times, nothing helped.
WSL2 networking mode is set to NAT, I tried mirrored, but that broke other things, so I would like to keep it in NAT mode.
Remote development version works, but that is quite uncomfortable to use. Also on a second PC which runs native Ubuntu everything works, so this is a WSL2 specific issue.
