[BUG] VS Code Ext - Plan files and file links open in current VS code frame, not in primary area

What's Wrong?

I don't really know how to explain this clearly, but if I click links to files in Claude Code chat, or have a suggested plan appear, they always appear in the cramped right most section where I keep Claude Code, rather than my primary working area with the rest of the files.

Any idea how we might fix this?

1) Where Plan launches
2) Where I would expect it to launch to

Appears inline in same Claude Code chat panel:

Different behavior to Copilot, where Copilot is always it's own fixed window on the far right, and you can't dock files to it.

What Should Happen?

Expectation is all files and plan files to be sent to primary code editor area, not panel which is where Claude Code exists.
