Markdown Header Emoji Removal: Prevent Emoji in Documentation Sections
Resolved 💬 4 comments Opened Jul 15, 2025 by plygrnd Closed Jan 5, 2026
Bug Description
Claude Code should never use emoji in Markdown section headers. This is bad practice. It breaks section headers, TOCs and indexing. It also confounds parsers. I fixed this with a CLAUDE.md update but emoji have no place in technical documentation unless explicitly requested by the user.
