Bug Description
Claude Code keeps hanging and using 9+GB of RAM (and seemingly causing a local DoS by spawning processes so rapidly that other processes can't create child processes), forcing me to send SIGTERM to the process. It started when I started using the ccstatusline package to manage my status line, but now that I've removed that everywhere, the problem persists. I don't want to have to nuke my Claude Code installation and start over, but if I must, I will.
