[Feature Request] Add current working directory to window title for Claude Code instances
Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Mar 14, 2026 by porky11 Closed Mar 17, 2026
Bug Description
It's difficult to distinguish claude code instances. They all have the same window title by default, and only sometimes change when they start a long task. I'd prefer if the current path is shown in the window title, the path I used for opening claude. Or at least the last directory, that would already help a lot. The default title Claude Code is completely useless. But if disable overrides of the terminal name, I can't see the current state of claude code.
