/clear does not fully clear conversation history

Description

After using /clear, the entire history of the conversation comes back. The command doesn't seem to fully work — conversation context is not actually cleared.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have an ongoing conversation with Claude Code
2. Run /clear
3. Observe that the full conversation history persists

Expected Behavior

/clear should reset the conversation context so that prior messages are no longer part of the active context.

Actual Behavior

The entire conversation history continues to be present after running /clear.
