Problem Statement

My company has an enterprise plan and is monitoring our usage. I would like to make sure that I am using Claude Code effectively and want to be able to monitor my usage as well. When I run the /usage command, I get the error, "/usage is only available for subscription plans", which is misleading since I am on an enterprise subscription plan and can see some usage information from the Desktop App. I am wondering if my cli and desktop app usage are combined and wanted to check /usage from claude code.

Proposed Solution

I'd like to be able to run /usage from the command prompt in claude code and see my aggregated usage and individual limit

Alternative Solutions

Right now, I can only see usage in the Desktop app and don't know if this includes my CLI usage.

Priority

Medium - Would be very helpful

Feature Category

CLI commands and flags

Use Case Example

I am running claude

  1. I type /usage
  2. I see the error /usage is only available for subscription plans
