[Bug] Memory configuration menu arrow keys produce escape sequences on macOS

Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Mar 11, 2026 by kylemhall Closed Mar 15, 2026

Bug Description
When I try to enable memory in claude from the cli on my mac, I can hit enter to enable user memory, but then if i hit down, I can characters like ^[[O^[[I^[[B in my terminal instead of it moving down

This prevents me from enabling memory. It happens in both iTerm2 and the terminal app.
