Problem Statement

I often need Claude to have a sense of time passing. This supports working with Claude on time-sensitive tasks. In my case, analyzing the stock market before it closes. With the Claude CLI, I use a hook to inject the date and time into the prompt. I would like a similar feature in Claude Desktop

Proposed Solution

I would like to include the same kinds of hooks into Claude Desktop that I have in Claude CLI.
