[BUG] Claude Code frozen at startup - suspected memory leak.

Environment

• Claude CLI version: 1.0.45 (Claude Code)
• Operating System: macOS Sequoia 15.5, Mac Mini M2 Pro
• Terminal: Warp terminal, Claude Code VS Code extension, Cursor.

Bug Description

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open any terminal.
2. Type in "claude" to start Claude Code.
3. Claude Code starts and immediately freezes. Eating up RAM, starting at 300mb and currently at 2gb and counting. It's only been running for 5 minutes...

Expected Behavior

Use Claude Code normally without freezing or leaking.

Actual Behavior

As described: frozen and taking as much memory as possible.
