[BUG] Cmd+P not working in terminal (Ghostty/Warp) since 2.1.70+
Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Mar 10, 2026 by avloss Closed Mar 13, 2026
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Cmd+P no longer triggers its bound shortcut. Instead, the literal letter p is typed into the input field. The modifier key is not being recognized by Claude Code, even though it works correctly in all other applications on the same machine.
Tested all three modifier keys (Cmd, Option, Ctrl) + P — none register as a shortcut. Cmd + P produce the letter p.
What Should Happen?
Cmd+P should trigger its assigned action, as it did on version 2.1.69.
