[BUG] Lag & Hang for 30 seconds when starting a new Claude

I suspect it's the long conversation history I have , it's causing claude to lag and hang when i initiate a new claude call. How do i clear the history conversations?
The lag has been getting worse and longer over the past 3 weeks
