Remote/mobile: messages sent to Claude get duplicated (sent multiple times)

Problem

When using Claude Code via remote control (mobile/phone), messages sent by the user appear to be delivered to Claude multiple times. The user sends one message but Claude receives it as duplicate submissions.

Expected Behavior

Each message sent should be received exactly once, regardless of whether the user is on desktop or mobile/remote.

Actual Behavior

Messages sent via remote control are received multiple times by Claude, causing confusion and wasted context window.

Environment

• Using Claude Code remote control from a mobile phone
• Issue does not appear to happen on desktop

Impact

• Wastes context window with duplicate messages
• Can cause Claude to respond to the same message twice
• Confusing for both user and AI
