[BUG] Claude Desktop auto-update breaks PATH on Windows (version-specific path not updated)

What's Wrong?

And include:

• PATH points to ...\claude-code\2.1.63 after update to 2.1.64
• Claude Desktop (Microsoft Store) on Windows
• Auto-update changed the folder but didn't update the PATH entry

What Should Happen?

auto update path correctly

run windows 11

install claude code

install claude desktop

autoupdate v 2.1.63 to 2.1.64.

launch claude code, it wont launch in terminal
