Problem Statement

Claude code can burn through my usage much quicker than I expect. Checking /usage isn't always convenient, if I've got a long, autonomous coding session. It's also a bit of friction, so I don't always remember to check it.

This is especially an issue when I'm working on a secondary task, and CC accidentally blows through 90% of my limit.

Proposed Solution

Let the agent see my session usage OR be able to programmatically access usage through an API.

I'd want to add a hook to trigger a notification whenever my usage exceeds a certain limit.

Alternative Solutions

Currently checking /usage when I remember to do so!
