Yeah, for $200USD per month....

~173 working hours per month (40 hours × 52 weeks ÷ 12 months)
$200 ÷ 173 hours = $1.16 per hour

Just saying.... refunds no matter how small are appreciated when Anthropic is heartless about charging you for every API call no matter how erroneous (the case before Claude MAX).

EDIT: Back online within 10minutes of this going up. That is why Anthropic is a leader, shouldn't happen but when it does they take care of it. I won't delete the post, it's a reminder to Anthropic that we count the beans too.

it was working yesterday but today (2025-07-22, two weeks after this issue was first posted) I had the same problem, on the AUR package claude-code-1.0.55-1. I removed it and installed the latest 1.0.57 from npm, which fixed it

I'm still having this same exact issue, which started yesterday for me. I hate to open another ticket as they seem to get closed as a duplicate.... but it's still an issue.
