[BUG] Vietnamese IME input broken in JetBrains plugin chat after upgrading to v2.1.71

What's Wrong?

Before upgrading to Claude Code v2.1.71 (Opus 4.6), Vietnamese IME input worked correctly in the Claude Code chat panel inside PhpStorm on Windows.
After the upgrade, typing Vietnamese characters in the chat panel no longer works. The issue only affects the chat input field — typing in PowerShell terminal works fine.
Environment:

Claude Code: v2.1.71
Model: Opus 4.6
IDE: PhpStorm (JetBrains)
Plugin: Claude Code [Beta] v0.1.14-beta
OS: Windows
IME: Unikey / EVKey (both affected)

Steps to reproduce:

Open PhpStorm with Claude Code plugin
Open Claude Code chat panel
Switch Windows input to Vietnamese IME
Type Vietnamese characters

Expected: Vietnamese characters appear correctly
Actual: Characters are garbled or not typed correctly
Note: This worked correctly in the previous version before v2.1.71.

What Should Happen?

Vietnamese characters should be typed correctly in the Claude Code chat panel inside JetBrains IDE, as it worked in versions prior to v2.1.71.
