What's Wrong?

I don't know if this is the same place to log bugs for the mobile app...

I am using the Pro subscription.

This morning, I typed in a very lengthy prompt into the Android Claude app, trying to start a new chat session and after hitting the send button the chat pane emptied and the "You are out of messages" text was seen at the bottom. When I returned after the limit window time had reset the original prompt text had been discarded as if it had never been typed.

What Should Happen?

The prompt text should "save" in the new chat conversation thread / session before triggering the "subscription message limit reached" event. This will allow the user to continue with the conversation after the limit window resets.

Error Messages/Logs

Steps to Reproduce

  • Start a new chat
  • Type in a prompt
  • Hit send

The user account needs to have hit their max number of messages limit before hitting send.

Claude Model

Opus

Is this a regression?

I don't know
