[BUG] Suggested prompts no longer appearing after response

Suggested prompts (the gray text suggestions that appear in the input field after Claude responds, which can be accepted with Tab) have stopped appearing entirely.

This was working previously and is one of my most-used features for quick workflow continuation.

Environment:

• Claude Code v2.1.69
• Mac mini M4 Pro, macOS 26.2
• Terminal (zsh) and VS Code terminal affected
• Model: claude-opus-4-6

Expected behavior: After Claude responds, a suggested next prompt appears as gray placeholder text in the input field, which can be accepted with Tab.

Actual behavior: No suggested prompts appear at all. The input field remains empty after every response.

Notes: Feature flags in ~/.claude.json don't show any suggestion-related settings. This may be related to a server-side feature flag change.
