Remote Control: Frequent disconnections requiring page refresh

Description

When using the Remote Control feature (/rc or claude remote-control), the remote session on mobile browser disconnects frequently. The session requires manual page refresh to reconnect, sometimes multiple times during a single session.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start a Claude Code session on desktop
2. Run /rc to start remote control
3. Open the provided URL on a mobile device browser
4. Use the session for a few minutes
5. The connection drops — the page becomes unresponsive

Expected Behavior

The remote session should maintain a stable persistent connection without requiring frequent page refreshes.

Actual Behavior

The remote session disconnects multiple times, requiring the user to manually refresh the browser page to reconnect.

Environment

• OS: Windows 11 Pro
• Plan: Pro/Max
• Browser: Mobile browser (Chrome)
• Network: Stable internet connection on both devices

Notes

• Computer does not go to sleep during the session
• Internet connection is stable on both ends
• No VPN or firewall interference
• Refreshing the page does reconnect successfully, but it disconnects again shortly after
