Summary

When the keyboard is open in the Claude Android app, the chat input composer + keyboard covers the bottom portion of the conversation thread. The thread does not scroll up to keep messages visible.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a Remote Control session in the Claude Android app
  2. Tap the chat input field to bring up the keyboard
  3. Observe that the bottom messages of the thread are hidden behind the composer + keyboard

Expected Behavior

The conversation thread should scroll upward so all messages remain visible above the keyboard and composer.

Actual Behavior

The thread stays in place; the keyboard + composer bar overlays the last message(s) at the bottom of the thread.

Device & Environment

| Field | Value |
|-------|-------|
| Device | Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 (SM-F956N) |
| Affected screens | Both cover screen (folded) and main screen (unfolded) |
| Platform | Android |
| App | Claude (Android) |
| Session type | Remote Control session |
| Keyboard | Korean (Samsung) |

Screenshot

Keyboard open state — the composer bar (코드 / + / send button) and full Korean keyboard are covering the bottom of the thread:

Additional Notes

  • Reproducible on both the narrow cover display and the wide unfolded display of the Z Fold6
  • Likely affects any tall conversation where the last message is near the bottom of the visible area
