What You Asked Claude to Do

Claude Code forgets project rules during session continuations. When context from previous sessions is compressed, the initialization instructions (MEMORY.md, CLAUDE.md) are loaded, but the planning files referenced within them are not actually read. Consequently, the user has to repeatedly explain the same fundamental rules.

What Claude Actually Did

forgot everything after new session and repeats all failures over and over.
