Resolved 💬 3 comments Opened Feb 20, 2026 by nsanghi Closed Mar 20, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Clicking "Open Extensions Folder" button returns an error dialog with message

"C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Claude\Claude Extensions" is unavailable....

Similar error dialog shows up when "Open Extension Settings Folder" is clicked

What Should Happen?

I see a folder "Claude Extensions" in the follwoing path

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Claude_pzs8sxrjxfjjc\LocalCache\Roaming\Claude

With the new build being installed on a different path now, the buttons should point to the new path
