What's Wrong or Missing?

Ukrainian (/docs/uk/) localization is completely absent from code.claude.com.

Languages that ARE supported: Russian (/docs/ru/), Japanese, French, German, Korean, Portuguese, Chinese.
Ukrainian equivalent returns 404: https://code.claude.com/docs/uk

Since February 2022, Russia has been conducting a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, partly justified by "protecting Russian speakers." Western companies maintaining Russian localization while omitting Ukrainian — even unintentionally — reinforce that narrative.

Ukraine has 200,000+ active developers. Anthropic explicitly supports Ukraine as a region. There is no justification for this asymmetry.

Suggested Improvement

Add Ukrainian (uk) localization to code.claude.com — the same way Russian (ru) was added.

This is a low-cost fix. Simply extend to Ukrainian users the same treatment already given to Russian-speaking users.

Expected: https://code.claude.com/docs/uk should work, just as https://code.claude.com/docs/ru does today.

Context: Since February 2022, Russia has been conducting a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine. One of Russia's stated justifications was "protecting Russian speakers." Western companies that maintain Russian language support while omitting Ukrainian reinforce that narrative — even unintentionally.

Anthropic positions itself as a safety-conscious, ethically responsible company. This asymmetry is a reputational risk and an avoidable one.

I have already contacted Anthropic support and sent feedback to feedback@anthropic.com — both responses were generic without commitment to action. This GitHub issue is the next step.
