[Bug] Anthropic API Error: Service Disruption with Uncommitted Git Changes

**Bug Description**
In the desktop version of Claude Code, whenever I start working in a directory/project that has at least one uncommitted change, it throws the following error:
Claude will return soon
Claude is currently experiencing a temporary service disruption. We’re working on it, please check back soon.

If I remove the .git folder, or if there are no uncommitted changes, everything works fine.
