[Bug] Claude Code executes destructive filesystem operations without authorization when git commands fail

Bug Description
Claude Code I now see is well known for taking destructive actions without notice or authorization. It is known for ignoring rules designed to prevent destructive operations. It is known as a high-risk tool that can halt developer activities for days at a time. Are you aware of these shortcomings? I ask because Claude Code Opus 4.6 nuked 8 architecturual documents that I spent days researching and--today--writing. It fucking deleted my worktree not using a git command, but--when the git command failed--rm -rf. WTF!!!!!!
