[BUG] VS Code: Endless session loading.

What's Wrong?

By adding the Local Sessions/Web Sessions option, you broke the add-on for VS Code.
Open chats are no longer restored when VS Code is restarted. Instead, an empty chat loads, and clicking on "Past Conversations" results in an endless load. After about five minutes, you can see that the sessions have loaded. However, the history does not load in previously opened chats.

This is nonsense! When I close and open VS Code, I want to continue working where I left off, not dance around restoring sessions!

What Should Happen?

Sessions (local) should load instantly! All previously opened chats should load their history.

Error Messages/Logs

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open VS Code. Start one or more dialogs. Close VS Code.
  2. Open VS Code. Go to any chat and see that instead of the history, an empty chat has opened.
  3. Click Past Conversations and wait 5, 10, 15 minutes. Shout a swear word at the Claude Code developers and go through the process of opening a new dialog and searching for the desired history there.
