Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
I am using the Claude desktop app for macOS Version 1.1.3189 (1b7b58)
When I start a new session the agent is finding that there is no space left on the /sessions partition for the sandbox
I can no longer start a new Cowork session
The agent says:
The /sessions partition filling up from stale old sessions would be a good one to file there — it seems like the VM isn't cleaning up session directories when conversations end.
What Should Happen?
Sessions that end/age or are archived should release the space they consume on the /sessions partition
