[BUG] Unable to gain context from video files

Environment

• Platform (select one):
• [X] probably Anthropic API. But its claude launched inside vscode

• Claude CLI version: 1.0.35 (Claude Code)
• Operating System: macOS 15.5
• Terminal: native zsh terminal

Bug Description

when asking it to read a video file to gain context it seems to error out.
I was expecting these to work since these are multimodal models

Steps to Reproduce

1. ask it to gain context via some video file and give it the file path
