Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing requests and this feature hasn't been requested yet
  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

I often have multiple tabs open in VScode using the claude extension.
I start something in one and move on to another tab to work, get involved and then can't remember what is going on in the old tab.
I have to scroll up to see what I asked it to do and go, Oh yeah.
The tab is not renamable and it would be an easier reminder.

Proposed Solution

Put a summary of the last thing I asked as the title of tab and keep it current.

Alternative Solutions

The tab is not renamable.
I resort to closing the tab and opening another one so the it is named with the most recent command I gave.
Which causes it to have to re-read things that are already in the context window.

Priority

Critical - Blocking my work

Feature Category

CLI commands and flags
