[FEATURE] Hide vim mode display so that we can set it in the custom status line.

Problem Statement

We can set the vim mode to display in the custom status line, however it is duplicated because it alrready shows in the line below it. There doesn't seem to be a way to disable the default one.

Proposed Solution

Add an option to toggle the default vim mode display on and off. Should be a simple fix!
