File Open Failure: Claude Code Integration Spawns TextEdit Instead of Cursor Editor

Bug Description
I am effectively on a new macbook from the last couple of years, having just did a full OEM reset. I installed Cursor and Claude Code today. When I am in Cursor and I type /memory within Claude Code with the IDE integration activated and attempt to edit one of the files, it opens a new TextEdit window. This is not what I would expect, disappointing it's not within Cursor. You know? Seems like the most obvious thing, whenever Claude Code is asked to open or edit a file within the IDE, then the file should open in there.
