[Feature Request] Option to categorically opt out of compaction, reclaiming the last 10% of the context window
Feature request:
I'd like to be able to make a choice to use the compaction context window buffer, with the understanding that I would categorically be opting out of compacting the session without time traveling backwards. If we're close to the end of a task, I'd prefer to finish it out and start a fresh session, even if the mistake rate is slightly higher at the end of the session. Concretely, when I reach "Context low (0% remaining) · Run /compact to compact & continue" I'd prefer to see a prompt to compact or "reclaim 10% without compaction" -- even better, I'd love to be able to set this as a global setting, but that might be niche. I don't find compaction works better than writing and editing a markdown file with the relevant content at the end of a session, and I'd much rather use my last few percent for that.
