Claude Code cannot connect to Chrome Extension - bun crash

Claude Code cannot communicate with the Chrome Extension. The MCP connection succeeds, but no tool invocation works, because there is a crash related to the chrome native host running on bun.

Environment:

  • Windows 11
  • Claude Code version 2.1.31

The crash message: "Internal assertion failure" in Bun when running --chrome-native-host
