Input line not visible after launching new instance or /clear

Bug Description

The text input line (where you type) is not visible after:

  1. Starting a new Claude Code instance
  2. Running /clear in an existing session

Expected Behavior

The input line/cursor should be visible immediately after launching or clearing.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch a new Claude Code session, OR
  2. Run /clear in an existing session
  3. Observe that the input line is not visible

Environment

  • Platform: macOS (Darwin 25.2.0)
