[BUG] claude code freezes 2.1.27

What's Wrong?

After launching Claude, it freezes as soon as I enter any command. No longer responding to any input.

The RAM usage skyrockets to 10GB almost immediately and the process must be killed or chokes the system

Using MAC M4 48GB Ram

What Should Happen?

Claude should work as per usual.
