Bug Description

Double press of escape clears the text I typed without ability to restore

Steps to Reproduce

1. Type any long text
2. Press escape twice

Expected Behavior

It should confirm clear or add ability to restore typ4ed

Actual Behavior

Just clears

Additional Context

I can't count how many times it cleared my long texts! It's really frustrating
