What's Wrong?
When showing and then hiding thinking (ctrl-O ctrl-O), the ↓tokens counter starts back at 0 and counts up again even when no tokens were consumed in the interim.
What Should Happen?
Token counter should persist.

Steps to Reproduce
Send a message to Claude, wait for token counter to pause at a number, press ctrl-O ctrl-O twice, watch token counter restart from 0 and quickly increase.
