Feature Request
Description:
Add the ability to connect Claude Code (CLI) to the Claude desktop app so they can access the same data and share context between sessions.
Use Case:
Users often work across both tools and would benefit from:
- Shared conversation history or context
- Ability to continue a conversation started in one tool within the other
- Synchronized project context and memory
Current Workaround:
Currently requires manual copy/paste of context between tools, or setting up shared MCP servers - neither of which provides a seamless experience.
Proposed Solution:
Some form of sync or integration that allows context/data to flow between Claude Code and Claude Desktop, whether through:
- Shared session state
- Account-level context sync
- A dedicated integration mechanism
This would significantly improve the workflow for users who use both tools regularly.
