What's Wrong?
#17892 claims to fix this issue and may have for _remote_ mcp servers and those that require mcp-remote still do not work. The agent claims: "The MCP isn't connected to this Cowork session. You'd need to add it through whatever config manages your MCP connections.", the mcp server appears enabled alongside fully remote MCP servers that work as expected. _All_ mcp servers function in chat, this bug is limited to coworkers.
What Should Happen?
Local and remote mcp servers should function normally in Cowork.
Error Messages/Logs
"The MCP isn't connected to this Cowork session. You'd need to add it through whatever config manages your MCP connections."
Steps to Reproduce
Try to use any local mcp server in coward.
