• Chrome: 144.0.7559.97
• Extension: 1.0.40
• Windows 11 Build 26200.7623
• Chrome Profile: Profile 132

Setup verified:

• Registry key: HKCU\Software\Google\Chrome\NativeMessagingHosts\com.anthropic.claude_code_browser_extension ✓
• JSON config exists and correct ✓
• chrome-native-host.bat exists ✓
• No Claude Desktop installed ✓

Steps tried:

• Reinstalled extension
• Reinstalled Claude Code (npm → native)
• Restarted Chrome multiple times
• Toggled extension off/on
• Deleted and recreated registry key

Result:
Always "Browser extension is not connected"
