[Bug] Claude Code does not follow XDG Base Directory specification

Bug Description
You do know that you're in a commodity market, right? The fact that you don't follow the XDG standard rubs in my face the fact that Claude is designed to disobey its instructions to "get the job done." You know that, right? The second there's a product that approaches Claude's capabilities as an idiot savant, I will fucking drop Claude and Anthropic. You pricks!!
