[BUG] Claude code vscode plugin not getting config from remote

What's Wrong?

When using vscode and connecting remotely via ssh, it seems that Claude code barcode plugin is not getting the settings from the remote (where I have Claude code installed and configured)

As a result I need to specify all Claude code settings in the vscode settings.

What Should Happen?

Whenever using vscode connecting to a remote server via ssh, the plugin should take the configuration from the target host, including the Claude code config .

Steps to Reproduce

• install and configure Claude code in a Linux machine
• run vscode on windows, connecting via ssh to the Linux machine
• install the Claude code plugin for vscode
• try to use the vscode plugin - the auth will fail
