[BUG] Freezes on "Germinating..." displayed in red

What's Wrong?

• "Germinating..." message displayed in red
• Lasted >10 minutes (twice)
• ESC key didn't work
• Had to kill the process
• Context: Was in middle of a conversation about font implementation options for an android app

Using bash window on Ubuntu

What Should Happen?

At the very least, should recover on [Esc]
