[BUG] command search preview orders sensibly but highlights the third option

Resolved 💬 2 comments Opened Jan 20, 2026 by alextes Closed Jan 20, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

when typing /cont clearly /context should be the first preview result, selectable by hitting return.
the previewed list of matches does reflect the sensible order.
the highlighted option, executed by hitting return, is however the third.

even writing the full /context will still execute the wrong thing when hitting enter.

What Should Happen?

the first option in the search results window should be highlighted instead.
